Nano GPS chip Installed in Rs 2000 Note!

You may have also read about the Nano GPS feature in Rs 2000 note. The news about the nano GPS feature is making rounds in social media. It is claimed the Nano GPS feature of the note would make it traceable. The government would know the location of Rs 2000 note. It would also get alert if several Rs 2000 notes remain in a place for a longer time.
However, Lets clarify there is no such feature in Rs.2000 note. I have gone through all the official information of RBI but there is no mention of this feature. Even in the press conference of Finance secretary there was a question about this feature but the secretary denied any such feature.
So the new Rs 2000 currency note has many security feature not the Nano GPS.
